the story

For a very brief overview, it goes a bit like this:

• I was 1 week away from giving birth when it was discovered I had tumours (the size of a small rugby ball) growing in my left lung, chest, and heart.

• It was inoperable, and stage 4 (terminal cancer)

• I was offered palliative chemotherapy which I declined (it was confirmed the chemo would not cure the cancer just give me a few more months, but very sick months)

• I prayed God would find a way and He did

• My neurologist Dr Matthew Phillips (for an existing condition) was doing ketogenic trials for Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. He was also researching fasting and cancer but had no patients that would try it.

• I immediately knew this was answered prayer and began a (sole) metabolic approach to managing thymoma.

• As I was not doing any conventional (or other) cancer treatments, for 2 1/2 years we recorded all ketone and glucose measurements. This was compiled to complete a world first case-study published in Frontiers Medical Journal.

This website shares my journey, from my perspective, and tries to provide as much practical information (see Treatments page) that has been so freely shared with us.

More importantly, it shares hope.
